15 February 1905, All school districts allowed tax rate to remain the same as for the previous year.

New Districts; Liberty and Happy which were county line districts set their rate at 15<1:.
By 1915 Swisher county had become settled to the extent that twenty-four school districts were needed. So on February 15, 1915 the Commissioner's Court ordered trustee elections in the twenty-four school districts.

Valley View
The Valley View school was organized in 1906. It was located twelve miles Northeast of Tulia.
First Trustees were Tom Edwards, J. M. Tucker and Jess Pearson. It was a one teacher school and Miss Susan Patterson was the first teacher.

The following pupils were enrolled the first year: George Tucker, Dick Tucker, Beulah Tucker, Bob Ward, Bill Ward, Nora Ward, Mat Pearson, Mary Pearson, Ida Pearson, Sly Kiker, Estey Kiker, Lawrence Edwards, and Kathryn Mulhall.
In 1937 the Principal of Valley View School was C. W. Rose who had sixteen years of service in Swisher county. He came from Hill county Texas. Mrs. Doyle Simpson was the Primary teacher in 1937. Both Mr. Rose and Mrs. Simpson were experienced teachers and both were college
